“Liviu Rebreanu” Memorial Museum in Năsăud
The "Liviu Rebreanu" Memorial Museum is located in the village of Liviu Rebreanu, part of the town of Năsăud, in Bistrița-Năsăud county. The house was rebuilt on the site of the writer's family home in the old village of Prislop. The museum was set up with the support of the writer's family and the local community.
The rooms display his desk, photographs, documents and editions of Rebreanu's works. Part of the collection traces the connections between the family's experiences and the novel "The Forest of the Hanged." The exhibition occupies three rooms and includes magazines and textbooks compiled by the writer, alongside Romanian editions and translations of his novels.
