Aiud Municipal Park

Aiud Municipal Park is located on Gheorghe Doja street and has a history of over two centuries. Its paths pass through mature trees, some of which are centuries old. Vegetation includes oaks, including those known locally as goruni, chestnuts, lindens and maples, along with spruces and pines, so that the walking route alternates between the canopies of deciduous and coniferous trees.

Inside the park is the Students' Monument, the stone canopy dedicated to the young men of Bethlen Gábor College who fell in 1704. The green space also includes facilities for play and exercise: a children's playground, outdoor fitness equipment and sports fields. Lanes and benches allow for shaded stops near the city center.
