The movie "Aladdin" 2019
2019 - Mena Massoud, Naomi Scott, Will Smith, Marwan Kenzari, Navid Negahban
Like its predecessor, Aladdin draws on Aladdin and the Magic Lamp, a tale from One Thousand and One Nights. Unlike its predecessor, this Aladdin is not animated but a live-action film directed by Guy Ritchie. The story follows Aladdin, a resourceful and charming rascal, an orphan who grew up on his own on the streets of Agrabah, a thief with a heart of gold. His very innocence is why the evil sorcerer Jafar chooses him to enter the Cave of Wonders. Once there, however, Aladdin gets hold of the magic lamp and, with the help of its genie, tries to charm Princess Jasmine, with whom he is head over heels in love. The ensuing mayhem offers charm, suspense and twists more spectacular and funnier than the original—Guy Ritchie's name is in the credits for a reason.
