Albatros Villa – Marghiloman Estate

Villa Albatros is located in the Marghiloman Estate in the municipality of Buzău, in the park that preserves the family's name. The former residence of the politician Alexandru Marghiloman can be recognized by the high tower, the steep roofs and the decorated facades. After restoration, the building was opened in 2015 as the headquarters of a cultural center.

The villa and nearby buildings host exhibitions, presentations and events related to the city's heritage. During organized visits, the public can learn how the estate developed and how its spaces were reused. The park allows the exterior of the villa to be observed from several directions, and the complex also includes the former stables. Access to the interior depends on the program of the Cultural and Educational Center Alexandru Marghiloman; tours are checked before travel, as announced events have their own intervals.
