Anastasie Fătu Botanical Garden

The “Anastasie Fătu” Botanical Garden is on Copou Hill in Iași, Iași County. It continues the tradition of the garden founded by the physician Anastasie Fătu in 1856. The current site has been developed since 1963 for the collections and activities of “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University.
Paths lead through sections with trees, ornamental plants and collections arranged by the origin or taxonomic relationships of the species. The greenhouses hold tropical and subtropical plants, and the rose garden brings together many varieties of roses. Lakes and planted slopes give each section of the university garden a different look.
