Annunciation Monastery in Cormaia
Cormaia, Sângeorz-Băi, Bistrița-Năsăud
Buna Vestire Monastery is located in the Cormaia valley, near the town of Sângeorz-Băi. In its yard, there is an old wooden church, dedicated to the Protection of the Mother of God, which the Metropolis of Cluj dates to the first half of the seventeenth century.
The wooden church has a shingle roof and a tower with an open gallery, and around it are the buildings of the monastery, located on the side of the hill.
