Archaeology and Ethnography Museum in Corabia
The Museum of Archeology and Ethnography in Corabia operates on Cuza Vodă Street, in the House of Culture building. The collections trace the past of the Danube area, from archaeological discoveries to objects of rural life. The vessels, tools, coins and items of jewelry are complemented by exhibits documenting the occupations and traditional dress of the communities of southern Oltenia.
The exhibition connects ancient history and local traditions, including agriculture and fishing. The building underwent renovation work completed in 2020, and the museum is featured in the National Heritage Institute guidebook and the InterDIGImuseum project.
