Art Museum in Constanța

Constanța Art Museum is located on Tomis boulevard no. 82–84 and has two buildings: one from 1895, with neoclassical decoration, a historical monument, and a modern one, built between 1980 and 1982.

On the ground floor of the old building are exhibited paintings by Theodor Aman, Nicolae Grigorescu, Ioan Andreescu and Ștefan Luchian, alongside sculptures by Ioan Georgescu, Frederic Storck and Dimitrie Paciurea. The collection started from the town hall art gallery and grew through donations from Marius Bunescu, Ion Jalea and Boris Caragea.
