Aveiro
Central Portugal
Aveiro is a city in central Portugal, developed near the Ria de Aveiro lagoon. Canals traversed by traditional moliceiro boats and Art Nouveau buildings are distinctive elements. The Beira Mar neighborhood, the markets and the tradition of salt production complete the landscape of a city closely linked to water.
