Bears' Cave

Chișcău, Bihor

The Urșilor Cave is located in Chișcău, in the Pietroasa commune of Bihor county. The galleries equipped for visitors house stalactites, stalagmites and calcite curtains, formed by the deposition of minerals brought by water. The name of the cave is related to the cave bear remains discovered here. The tourist route passes through the underground formations, on the paths prepared for visitors. Access is with a guide, and his instructions protect both people and fragile formations.
