Blue Lacy

Blue Lacy (Lacy Dog) is a working dog created in Texas in the mid-nineteenth century, used for hunting and herding animals. Wikipedia says that since 2005 it has been the official breed of the state of Texas and describes it as intelligent, intense, active and attentive, easy to train, with a lot of energy to work. The breed is not recognized by FCI or AKC.
