Bobby Moore

Bobby Moore was an English defender known for his composure, positioning and the way he anticipated opponents' play. He captained England to win the 1966 World Cup and was one of the great symbols of West Ham United. With the London team he won the FA Cup and the Cup Winners' Cup. He did not rely on spectacular interventions in every phase, but on reading the game and the safe passes with which he started the attacks.
