Botanical Garden in Galați

The Galați Botanical Garden is located on the left bank of the Danube, in the municipality of Galați, Galați County, within the Răsvan Angheluță Natural Sciences Museum Complex. Established in 1990, planting began in 1995. The collections are organized into sectors with plants from different regions and environments.

Paths pass through groups of trees, shrubs and ornamental plants, and the rose garden brings together many rose varieties. Greenhouses house plants that need controlled temperatures and humidity. Its position on the Danube terrace offers views of the river. The garden complements the museum exhibitions of the complex with living collections, used for education and botanical research.
