Brâncoveanu Palace in Potlogi

Potlogi, Dâmbovița

The Potlogi palace, in Dâmbovița county, was built in 1698 by Constantin Brâncoveanu for his son Constantin. The ensemble includes the palace, courtyards with different functions and buildings that belonged to the household life of the residence. The stone decoration and the organization of the building illustrate Brâncovenesc architecture. During the visit, both the rooms of the palace and their relationship with the courtyard spaces can be traced. The site is managed by the National Museum Complex "Curtea Domnească" Târgoviște, which publishes information about the visiting circuit and the accessible exhibitions.
