Brass Band Museum in Petrești
The Brass Band Museum in Petrești presents the history of the band founded in 1879. The exhibition is located in the Brass Band House, next to the current evangelical church, in a building that once housed the Romanian kindergarten. The museum was opened in 2014, and its heritage was formed through donations from members of the brass band and people close to it.
The uniforms, photographs and objects related to the musicians' activity document concerts, generations of instrumentalists and the role of the brass band in the life of the community. The building also includes spaces for rehearsals and instrument storage. After the renovation completed in 2024, the retrospective exhibition was rearranged, and the Casa Fanfarei came under the management of the Lucian Blaga Cultural Center in Sebeș.
