Brno is the largest city in Moravia and a university center in the southeastern Czech Republic. Špilberk Castle rises above the center and the cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul is one of its landmarks. Villa Tugendhat, included in the UNESCO heritage, shows the importance of modern architecture in the city.
