Burmese
Myanmar, Thailand, USA, United Kingdom
The Burmese cat is a small to medium-sized, muscular and surprisingly heavy cat with very short, satin-like fur. Hence its description: "a brick wrapped in silk". She is very sociable, playful and talkative and attaches herself to her master almost like a puppy. Not to be confused with the Sacred Birman, which has semi-long hair and white paws.
