Călugăra Monastery
Ciclova Montană, Oravița, Caraș-Severin
Călugăra Monastery is located on the Ciclova Valley, near Ciclova Montană. It was founded in 1859, on the site of an old monk's cell, at the initiative of the hieromonk Alexie Nedici.
The church was built in 1860-1861 by the inhabitants of Ciclova Montană, most of them farmers. The monastery church is a historical monument.
