Carol I Park in Corabia
Corabia, Olt
Carol I Park is a public walking space in Corabia, with mature trees, paths and a central wooden gazebo. The park was renovated in 2015, and the current name recalls King Carol I's connection with the founding of the city and the events of the War of Independence.
You can walk through the park, stopping at benches and near the gazebo. The vegetation and rest areas make it suitable for a break between sights in the city centre. It is an urban park, for walks and recreation, and its atmosphere changes with the seasons and with the activities of the local community.
