Central Park in Slănic-Moldova

The Central Park of Slănic-Moldova occupies 4.16 hectares in the center of the resort. Its lanes follow an amphitheater-like layout with lawns, tall trees and flowerbeds. At the entrance, the floral calendar displays the year, month and day using plants, and ornamental fountains, small landscaped waterfalls and wood and stone sculptures are scattered throughout the park.

In the middle of the park stands the Music Pavilion, where brass band concerts and shows are held. The tradition of promenade music here dates back to the nineteenth century. The benches along the paths and the playground invite longer stops, and openings between the trees reveal the Casino at the edge of the park.
