Český Krumlov

Southern Bohemia, Czechia

Český Krumlov is a small town in the south of the Czech Republic, built in a loop of the Vltava River. Its castle, with its colorful tower and Renaissance courtyards, dominates the medieval center, listed as a UNESCO heritage site. The narrow streets, the bridges over the river and the castle garden form a well-preserved historical ensemble.
