Chinook

The Chinook is an American sled dog, created at the beginning of the twentieth century in New Hampshire, of which it is the official dog. It has a golden-reddish ("tawny") double coat. Wikipedia describes him as an affectionate and playful family companion with a special devotion to children, eager to please and easy to train. Not recognized by the FCI; AKC recognizes him.
