Ciucaș Lake in Băile Tușnad
Băile Tușnad, Harghita
The Ciucaș Lake is located in the center of the Băile Tușnad resort, approximately 640 meters above sea level. It is an artificial lake, dug between 1882 and 1893 and filled with water from Olt.
The villas of the resort and the wooded slopes of the Olt gorge are mirrored in the water. There are paths and wooden footbridges on the shore.
