The movie "Civil War" 2024

The US is now a deeply divided country, and a bloody civil war breaks out. Democracy and the Constitution are long-gone dreams as the President begins his third term in the White House in Washington. As the supreme commander of the armed forces, he wages war against Texas and California and attacks the rebellious Americans with brutal airstrikes. Despite all the military efforts of the president, the two states cannot be brought down, on the contrary. As Independence Day approaches, troops from California and Texas approach Washington. To ensure that the truth is not lost during war, a few journalists continue to do their job conscientiously and report from trouble spots at great risk to their lives. When it becomes clear that the capital may also fall in the coming days, the team sets out to conduct one last interview with the president.
