Craftsmen's Temple in Galați

The Temple of Craftsmen, the synagogue of the Society of Jewish Craftsmen, is located in a courtyard on Dornei street no. 7–11 in Galați. It is the last Jewish place of worship still active in the city.
The society bought its land in 1889, and the plans for the temple were completed in 1890. The large building, with a decorated facade, was for a long time the choral temple of the Jewish community in Galaţi.
