Dalnic Village
Dalnic is located in Covasna County, at the foot of the Bodoc Mountains, in the Târgu Secuiesc Depression. The village is first documented in 1332 and is associated with Gheorghe Doja, leader of the 1514 uprising. It preserves houses, manor houses and a Reformed church with medieval elements.
Among the landmarks are the Beczássy manor house and its dendrological park, the school from the end of the nineteenth century and the monument dedicated to Doja. The Reformed church stands in the middle of the village, in an enclosure with trees and walls. Beyond the farmsteads, the farmland gradually climbs to the hills and forests at the edge of the Bodoc Mountains.
