Danube Delta Ecotourism Museum Center

The Danube Delta Ecotourism Museum Center is located in the municipality of Tulcea, on 14 Noiembrie street. The space brings together a natural science exhibition and an aquarium, providing an introduction to the habitats of the Delta and Dobrogea. The visit can be linked to a trip to the delta, to then recognize the plants, birds and fish of the region.

The dioramas recreate reedbed environments, wetlands and other landscapes, with species presented in their natural context. Collections include birds, insects, mammals, plants and geological materials. In the aquarium you can see fish from local waters and exotic species, in pools designed for different environments. The trail explains how water shapes ecosystems and the connections between living things. For guided group visits, the institution requires prior appointment.
