Defenders of Predeal Statuary Group
Predeal, Brașov
The statuary group Apărătorii Predealului is located near the train station in Predeal. The monument, made by the sculptor Constantin Baraschi, commemorates the soldiers and railway workers who defended Predeal in the First World War.
On a high plinth, clad in stone, stand three bronze figures, one of them next to a machine gun. On the face of the plinth, a bas-relief shows a battle scene.
