Dog

The first animal domesticated by humans, more than 14,000 years ago, before the rise of farming, the dog descends from wolves. Breeds vary greatly in shape, size and colour, but all dogs have powerful jaws with about 42 teeth. Their sense of smell and hearing are far better than ours.
