Dolphinarium in Constanța
The Constanța Dolphinarium is part of the Natural Sciences Museum Complex, on Mamaia Boulevard, in Constanța municipality, Constanța county. Opened in 1972, it was the first dolphinarium in Romania. Its activity presents marine mammals and aims to familiarize the public with their biology and behavior.
In the building are the animal pools and public spaces. The presentations explain the reactions and movements of the dolphins, as part of the activities led by the specialized staff. The dolphinarium is a separate attraction within the complex, alongside the micro reserve and other sections. Visiting conditions can be checked on the institution's page, as the activities also depend on the care of the animals.
