Dormition of the Mother of God Church in Băile Tușnad
Băile Tușnad, Harghita
The Orthodox Church of the Dormition of the Mother of God is located on Oltului street, in the center of Băile Tușnad. It was started in 1939 and combines Byzantine forms with Brâncovenesc style elements.
It has a cross-shaped plan, with three apses, and a porch with twisted stone columns. The exterior walls are painted with religious scenes, and the entrance to the courtyard passes under the bell tower.
