The movie "Edge of Tomorrow" 2014

Set in the near future, the film depicts Earth invaded by an extremely hostile alien race. The entire planet is under constant attack, and humanity can barely cope. Officer William Cage (Tom Cruise) has never set foot on a battlefield but suddenly finds himself on a suicide mission. Although killed within minutes, Cage inexplicably wakes at the start of the fateful day, repeatedly reliving the experiences that ended in his death. With each battle, however, he gains experience and, alongside officer Rita Vrataski (Emily Blunt), draws ever closer to defeating the aliens.
