Elephant

Elephants are the largest land animals and there are three species: the African bush elephant, the African forest elephant and the Asian elephant. They are recognised by their trunk, which brings food and water to the mouth, by their tusks, large ears and thick, pillar-like legs. Their ears help them keep their body temperature steady, and African elephants have larger ears than Asian ones.
