Elurophobia

Elurophobia, more often called ailurophobia, is a persistent and excessive fear of cats. The word comes from the Greek ailouros, “cat”. Those affected may feel anxious when they see a cat, a picture of a cat or just hear one, and exposure therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy and hypnotherapy can help them.
