Ephebiphobia

Teenagers are what people with ephebiphobia fear; the word is formed from the Greek ephebos, “youth”, and phobos, “fear”. The term was coined as the “fear or loathing of teenagers” and is studied today in sociology. Those affected may wrongly believe that all young people behave badly or violently, and they avoid any contact with them.
