Eugen Ionescu Park in Slatina

The Eugen Ionescu Park is located in the old center of Slatina, in the area of the Olt County Museum. The green space is laid out with paths, trees, lawns and benches, between the historic streets of the city. Its name recalls the playwright born in Slatina, the author of the plays «Rhinoceros» and «The Bald Soprano».

The shaded alleys and benches allow stops between visits to the nearby historical buildings. The park offers a short walk through an urban garden, with planted areas and short paths, close to the commercial streets of the old town.
