Evangelical Church in the village of Cisnădioara
Cisnădioara, Cisnădie, Sibiu
The evangelical church in the center of Cisnădioara village was completed in 1764, in the Baroque style, on the site of a Gothic church from which the tower on the west side was preserved. It is different from the Romanesque basilica on the hill of the village.
In the church there is the oldest still functioning pipe organ in Transylvania, built in 1723. In the courtyard are a monument to the soldiers who fell in the First World War and a fountain.
