Caleb, a 24-year-old programmer at the largest computer company, wins an internal competition whose prize is a week with Nathan, the company's extremely reclusive boss, at his isolated mountain home. When Caleb arrives, however, he discovers that he must take part in a fascinating but very strange experiment, interacting with the world's first true artificial intelligence, housed in a beautiful robot girl. The writer-director presents a chilling vision of artificial intelligence's not-too-distant future. Caleb's experiment becomes a dark psychological battle, full of twists that force him into an extremely difficult choice: machine or human?
