Fairy Tale and Reality Doll Exhibition

The exhibition of dolls "Fairy tale and reality" is located on Oltului street in Sfântu Gheorghe. The private collection brings together approximately 1,200 porcelain dolls, originating from several countries. The figures have different costumes, expressions and sizes, from small pieces to near-child-sized dolls.

Among the examples shown are vintage dolls and French limited editions. The details of the faces, fabrics and accessories of the costumes allow comparison of the ways in which these objects were made. The collection also includes a doll dated 1885, mentioned in the tourist presentation of the county. Visiting is by appointment, so arrange access to this private collection before travelling.
