Fâstâci Monastery

Fâstâci, Cozmești Commune, Vaslui

The Fâstâci monastery is located in the village of the same name in the Cozmești commune, in the Cehan valley. The Church of Saint Nicholas was founded in 1721 by ruler Mihail Racoviță and has a trefoil-shaped plan, with facades decorated with a decorative band and carved motifs.

The premises are enclosed by stone walls, and the entrance passes under the brick bell tower. In the church, the iconostasis with floral decoration and old icons is preserved. Today it is a nunnery.
