Genuphobia
Fear of knees
The Latin genu, “knee”, gives its name to genuphobia, the fear of knees. Some people are repulsed by the way knees look, others fear injuries and feel anxious when they see or touch knees, cross their legs or have to kneel. Cognitive behavioural therapy and exposure therapy can help.
