George Bacovia Memorial House
Bacău, Bacău
The “George Bacovia” Memorial House is on the street named after the poet, in Bacău. The museum is in the family home where he lived, and the memorial exhibition opened in 1971. The collection was assembled through donations from the writer's family and purchases from it.
The rooms display furniture, manuscripts, editions of his works, photographs and documents. The objects reflect Bacovia's family life and literary work. The memorial house is run by the “Iulian Antonescu” Museum Complex. The building is at number 13 and is listed as a historical monument.
