George Coșbuc National College in Năsăud
Năsăud, Bistrița-Năsăud
The building of the George Coșbuc National College was built between 1863 and 1888, according to the plans of the architect Friedrich Maetz from Cluj, for the Greek-Catholic High School in Năsăud. The school had been established on October 4, 1863, with teaching in the Romanian language.
Among the school's students were George Coșbuc and Liviu Rebreanu. The building is a historical monument and still houses a high school, so it can be seen from the outside.
