The giant schnauzer (Riesenschnauzer) is the largest of the three schnauzers: a strong, stocky dog with wiry fur, beard and bushy eyebrows. At first he herded cattle in southern Germany, then became a working and guard dog. He is kind-hearted, balanced and of incorruptible loyalty to his master.
