Gondola Lift in Piatra Neamț

The Piatra Neamț gondola lift links the railway station area with Cozla Hill, passing over the town. The lower station is in Piața Gării, and the upper one is at an altitude of about 632 meters. The route is about 1.9 kilometers long and offers views of the neighborhoods, the Bistrița Valley and the surrounding hills.

The lift uses enclosed eight-seat cabins hanging from a cable. As you climb, the view of the center and the forested slopes keeps changing, and from the upper station you can continue on foot around Cozla. You can ride in either direction. Operation depends on the weather and on technical work, so check that the lift is running before you go.
