Great Temple in Satu Mare

The Great Temple in Satu Mare, the synagogue at 6 Decebal Street, was built between 1889 and 1892, in Moorish style. The ensemble includes the synagogue and a house of prayer, both historical monuments.

The presence of Jews in Satu Mare has been documented since 1623.
