Greyhound

United Kingdom
The Greyhound is the English greyhound, a very old breed, bred for hunting by sight and speed and then used for racing. The FCI standard mentions a racing Greyhound recorded at over 72 km/h. At home, however, the breed is gentle, affectionate and balanced and likes to laze around all day.
