Hamburg is a city in northern Germany, developed on the Elbe and around an important river port. The Speicherstadt's brick warehouses, canals and the Elbphilharmonie are distinctive landmarks. The Alster lakes and the promenades on the shores complete the landscape where historic architecture meets contemporary constructions.
