Havre Gah Temple in Câmpulung Moldovenesc

The Havre Gah temple is located on Arboroasa street, close to the agricultural market in Câmpulung Moldovenesc. The white facade, the tall arched windows and the Star of David at the top distinguish it from the neighboring buildings. It is a place of worship for the local Jewish community, distinct from the Old Synagogue on Dimitrie Cantemir Street.

The year 1873 appears in the Star of David on the frontispiece. The municipal tourist information center specifies that the inscription comes from the Old Synagogue and was added later, so it should not be confused with the date of the construction of the temple on Arboroasa. The facade can be seen from the street; for access inside, community confirmation is required.
