Heroes Cathedral in Hunedoara

The Cathedral of Heroes in Hunedoara is the church dedicated to All Saints Sunday. It was built in memory of Romanian heroes and martyrs, with a special connection to those who died in December 1989. The foundation stone was laid in 1990, and the construction was followed by painting and interior decoration works.
The facade, the towers and the mosaic decorations make up the visible landmarks of the building. The interior with paintings and stained glass windows can be viewed during opening hours, without disturbing services. The church was consecrated in September 2026.
